The controller still isn't working with the emulator. I deleted all my shortcuts, and added my library with ICE. I added the games back to Steam, and now the wireless Xbox 360 controller hooked up to the Steam Link won't work with the emulator at all. I couldn't leave well enough alone, and I uninstalled PCSX2 and installed a newer version. RetroArch is a free and open-source, cross-platform frontend for emulators, game engines. I have a wired Xbox 360 controller plugged into my PC, and a wireless Xbox 360 with USB dongle hooked up to the Steam Link. I set up PCSX2 last week and everything worked perfectly. It works fine through Steam with an Xbox 360 controller connected directly to the PC, but it does not detect the input while the XBox 360 controller is connected to the Steam Link.ĭolphin - Another emulator that works fine with the Xbox 360 controller connected directly to the PC, but not to the Steam Link. The work-around is to change the Sys_Suspend hotkey in PCSX2_keys.ini from ESCAPE to another key.ĮPSXe - No luck. The emulator works well except that every time I pressed the B button, Steam would pop up forcing the game to the background. PCSX2 - Configured the controller at the PC and then moved it to the Steam Link. This emulator also supports exiting via a button on the controller. Is there a method available to register a multi-button combo on my controller as a different button entirely on the controller? (E.g. Basically if I'm using an NES emulator I would like to be able to hit the drum in both the middle parts to register an A press or something similar to that. I thought about it and after a little bit of testing with my computer and switch, there are only 4 total buttons (besides the ones that are used for a normal controller), and I would love to be able to hit 2 of the buttons at once and it register as a 3rd press kind of like how the game I got the drum for works. While playing with it I thought it would be fun to try and use it for games obviously not made for this kind of controller. ive been looking for a solution for two weeks now, and still no luck. I have no idea what is causing the issue, its not my monitor because the games look fine on retroarch on my modded switch.

I bought a cool rhythm game (Taiko no Tatsujin) and I got the drum controller to go with it. The issue happens in the following emulators: nestopia, bsnes, mgba, melonds, yuzu, and ryujinx where the game is running in full speed, but when in motion the game is extremely choppy and jittery.
